This tutorial is designed for both beginner and experienced MATLAB users of HDF5 and netCDF. We will cover MATLAB's R2012a release that introduced official support for OPeNDAP. Participants will learn how to read OPeNDAP URLs, and in addition, read and write netCDF-4 and HDF5 files with both beginner-level and expert- level interfaces. MATLAB example code will be provided.
