The HDF to BINARY (hdf2bin) is a tool that converts an HDF-EOS2 file into a series of binary files; each data field is converted into one binary file.
Source code is not available from HDF-EOS website. A binary executable program for Linux is available here. Binary executable programs for IRIX, Solaris, Windows 2000, Windows 98 and Windows NT are packaged here in a single gzipped tar file.
This program shows a short description when -h switch is given.
For each data field, one binary file is generated. These binary files do
not contain any header. Useful information about data fields is written
to the standard output.
